Smt. S. Uma Rani, 48 years belongs to Thiruvannamalai District in Tamil Nadu. She has joined AWBI on 28.09.2012 for three years on deputation. She has Masters Degree in Zoology from Ethiraj College for Women, University of Madras. She qualified in the Indian Civil Services Exam in 1991 and joined Central Government Services in 1993 in the Ministry of Defence where she was working as Dy. Director.
Smt. S. Uma Rani has varied experience in serving in Central Government having been on deputation in Coast Guard Regional Headquarters at Chennai and Debts Recovery Tribunal, Coimbatore.
